Drawing Dates: Drawings set to be held March 31 and September 30 of the current year (every 6 months) continually.
Who May Enter:This sweepstakes is intended for legal California residents who are 18 years old or older. Employees of Home Depot U.S.A., Inc., its affiliate companies, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, Lifetime Solutions, Inc., or any living in the same household of someone who is, are not eligible.
How to Enter: Simply fill out an official $1,000 Gift Card Sweepstakes Entry Form, and deposit form in the entry receptacle (locked orange bucket with drop slot) available at point of entry. The point of entry will depend on the most convenient visible location within each participating store, and therefore will differ in proximity from store to store. Any entries deposited the week of the drawing dates will automatically be rolled over to the next drawing. All entries become the property of Sponsor and will not be returned. All winners must meet the eligibility requirements set forth in these rules in order to qualify for the prize. Limit one entry per household. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, misdirected, mutilated, incomplete or illegible entries. By participating in this Sweepstakes, entrants agree to release and hold harmless Sweepstakes Parties and each of their respective parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, officers, directors, representatives, agents and employees, from any and all liability whatsoever for any injuries, losses or damages of any kind arising from or in connection with, either directly or indirectly, 1) the awarding, acceptance, receipt, possession, use and/or misuse of any prize awarded herein; or 2) participation in the Sweepstakes or any prize related activities, including but not limited to traveling to or from any prize related activity.
Random Drawing: There will be only one winner every six months. The winner will be selected in a random drawing on or around the specified drawing dates from among all eligible entries received. Winners will be notified by telephone. If winner verbally refuses prize, a new winner will be selected. If winner is unreachable by telephone, a certified letter will be mailed out to the winner. If the winner does not respond to the certified letter within 2 weeks (14 days), a new winner will be selected.
Prizes: One $1,000.00 The Home Depot Gift Card. All federal, state, and local taxes, if any, is the responsibility of the individual winners. Gift Cards are subject to terms and conditions on the back of each card. Prizes are not transferable or redeemable for cash and no substitutions are allowed, except by Sponsor who reserves the right to substitute a prize of comparable or greater value, at its sole discretion. Winners may use The Home Depot Gift Card toward the purchase of merchandise at any The Home Depot retail store, EXPO Design Center, The Home Depot Supply store. The Home Depot Gift Card has no implied warranties, is not a credit card or debit card, and is redeemable for merchandise only and will not be redeemed or exchanged for cash, check or credit. It may not be used for payment on any credit or loan account. Lost, stolen or damaged The Home Depot Gift Cards will not be canceled and replaced without the required proof of acceptance by the winner. Additional terms and conditions apply. Only the prizes specified above will be awarded. Sponsor expressly disclaims any responsibility or liability for injury or loss to any person or property relating to the delivery and/or subsequent use of prizes awarded. Sponsor makes no representation or warranties concerning the appearance, safety or performance of any prizes awarded.
Claiming Prize: All properly claimed prizes will be awarded. As a condition of winning the prizes, the winners must sign (in person) an affidavit of eligibility and liability and publicity release. Further, by accepting the prize, the winner consents to Sponsor’s use of their name, photograph and/or likeness, in any and all media now known or hereafter developed (including, without limitation, print, broadcast and internet), for all legitimate business purposes including advertising and promotional activities without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law. Any unclaimed or refused prizes will be awarded in a random drawing to be held as necessary.
Other Conditions: By participating in the Sweepstakes you authorize Sponsor to contact you by telephone regarding this promotional Sweepstakes and their products and/or services even if you have registered your telephone number on the National Do Not Call list or any other Do Not Call list. Completed form is the property of Sponsor and may be used for secondary promotional purposes. Sponsor, whose business is water and air treatment and purification, may contact qualified participants in regards to a no cost no obligation water test, which is a free service provided. Choice of Law: Under no circumstances will entrants be permitted to obtain awards for, and entrants waive all rights to claim, punitive, incidental or consequential damages, or any other damages, including attorneys’ fees, and entrants further waive all rights to have damages multiplied or increased. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of entrants and Sponsor in connection with the Sweepstakes, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the State of California, without regard to California conflict of law principles.
Results: The names of previous winners may be obtained after April 30th and October 31st of the current year. Requests for winners’ names must be received no later than 1 year after the final drawing. Final drawing is still to be determined.
